“Fishes live in the sea, as men do a-land; the great ones eat up the little ones.” – William Shakespeare.Sea creatures are something which we are still discovering more about every day. Deep down in the ocean there exist species of fish we have still not discovered, many of these deep sea fish are almost unimaginable. Some have long sharp teeth and others a light in front of them to attract their prey. With these unexplored waters it gives artists a great power of creativity, to create almost anything they could imagine living in the sea. Gabriel Bodnariu uses fish as the centre pieces of his artworks, he creates big almost mythological fish which one is glad can only survive in the water, although in his artwork ‘Fishing’, it feels as though the giant fish is going to explode through the canvas. Piotr Burger uses sculpture to re-create these deep sea fish, using wood metal and paint he manages to create sine amazing sculptures.
