Bridges have always held peoples wonder and awe, great man-made structures connecting people and land, built in the centre of cities, across mountains and over small country rivers and valleys bridges are everywhere and are all so unique.

Zoran Nicic demonstrates brilliant attention to detail in his works, in his painting ‘Blackfriars Bridge’ he demonstrates this really bringing the bridge to life , drawing out its character and uniqueness.

Hanna Stachowiak gives us great imagery in her work, ‘Waterfall’. In this artwork we see a wooden rope bridge dangling over a waterfall the scene is almost like something out of a fantasy book, one can imagine a party on a quest travelling over it.

Lucas Witte-Vermeulen shows us the same bridge in the four different seasons. This demonstrates how bridges retain their beauty no matter of the time of the year or their surroundings.
