This exhibition section of Londonart truly has a varied selection, ranging from sculpture, photography, paintings and sketches. All of these artists’ works have been handpicked due to their notable skill of using black and white to create their work. These compositions may seem simple only being in black and white, however this is made up in the detail and striking subjects that are being captured. One purely simple piece but extremely prominent is Charlie Holland’s photograph; Black Theme, one. This photo of someone’s curled over back really stands out even though it is only in black and white This is due to its pitch black background, making the monotone within the skin seem brighter and more outstanding.
