Beauty may be in the eye of the beholder, but some objects seem to emit a natural grace that we can all appreciate. This exhibition was curated to celebrate the innate magnificence of certain scenes, objects or images. Here we see ceramic pots fold organically and sit with poise upon their saucers and photographs of tin pot tankards casting their shadows onto the brittle blue wall behind them. Paintings capture the innocent splendour of a fisherman’s daily catch and still life pictures of jugs and tea pots set out for lunch show the simple beauty of daily rituals. In other work it is the intensity of colour which provides the intense attractiveness. There are wonders all around us; all we need to do is look. This LondonArt exhibition is the perfect place to start.
