In the 1960s, so the tale says, there were 7 celebrities. The Beatles, Michael Cane, the Queen and Twiggy. Today we live in a post Warhol-ian world of fifteen minute fame and endless gossip magazines. Throughout all this oversaturation though, some faces stand out. Fame is still sometimes the by-product of achievement and not the achievement itself. In this exhibition we have collected together some of the more deserving of our the famous people and shown some of our finest portrait painters. This could be your chance to own a small slice of celebrity glamour.
