‘In a portrait, you have room to have a point of view. The image may not be literally what’s going on, but it’s representative.’ Annie Leibovitz A Roman philosopher Cicero said, ‘The face is a portrait of the mind as the eyes are its interpreter’. Despite the passage of the time words of the ancient thinker are still actual today. Nowadays we see each other not only ‘eye to eye’ but also through an eye of the camera. Therefore, we have to deal with double interpretation that makes us wonder about our ability to understanding other people and limitation of language. Old proverb says, ‘Eyes are the mirror of the soul ‘. On the crossing of our eyes and eye of the camera is the most important thing-our sensitivity to our humans. All of these photographs involve an observer and ask for the moment of reflection on life.
