Here are some amazing new artists!Julian Day’s exploration of a pitch black background really allows you to focus in on the subject matter, which in itself is created with great precision and attention to detail. Helen Hopkin’s uses scenes that would normally be painted in watercolour and transforms them using heavy body acrylic paint and very thick brushstrokes to really bring her artwork to life. Dani Humberstone uses fruits cut in two to show us a smaller picture, this effect makes the fruit appear like windows using great precision in the smaller picture to create two artworks in one. Sergei Inkatov’s semi abstract work really jumps off the canvas at you, using a selection of different colours Sergei gives us an imagery that pushes the imagination to its very limits. James Lavott’s surreal semi abstracts, picture scenes of objects flying in around in an almost blur, using the doodle and a great collage of colous to bring forth unexpected visual results.
